Animal-Assisted Therapy

We also have a trainee therapy dog, Paddy.

He is a Barbet (french water dog) and this breed was specifically chosen for the sensory input his coat can provide, the bonds they have with humans and the perfect temperament for his work as a therapy dog.

Barbet's are a rare breed worldwide, and he was originally bred in Poland.  When his first home didn't quite work out, he was accepted into the home of Novaforesta Barbets and came to live with OT Emma in August 2022.

Paddy is still an adolescent puppy, however has had a few outings as part of his training and is doing very well
